About Us

Vision Statement

We help people achieve financial freedom by investing in real estate collectively rather than individually so that we can achieve greater investment success together than we could achieve individually by pooling talent and resources.

Paul Heaps - Managing Partner

Paul Heaps is a full-time real estate broker, property manager, and investor. He purchased his first investment property in 1998 and has been in real estate for over 20 years.

Many people know of Paul as part of the Heaps Team with his wife Becky. However it is real estate investing that is his first passion. Prior to real estate, Paul graduated from the University of Michigan Business School. He worked in finance for one of the “Big 4” accounting firms now known as Price Waterhouse Coopers. Paul’s financial background and experience doing business valuation work provided a knowledge base not always found in real estate investors.
Mark Dowsett - Managing Partner

Mark is a full-time property manager and co-owner of Real Property Management Instant Equity in Tampa. After graduating from Grand Valley State University and working in the Grand Rapids area for about 2 years, Mark picked up and moved to Tampa to open the Real Property Management office.

Mark moved to Tampa without knowing anyone or having any business contacts in the area. Despite this, he worked diligently building the Tampa office to over 200 rental units in less than 5 years.

Mark now has an established network of investor clients, contractors, vendors, realtors, and many other people necessary to run a successful property investment and management business.

Matt Sieber - Managing Partner

Matt Sieber lives in St. Joseph, Mi with his wife of 13 years, Kaitlin, and two daughters Lydia and Ellie. After 6 years of being in the builders trade and general contracting world, Matt became a licensed Realtor in the State of Michigan.

His exposure to contracting, which began in 2009, provided opportunities to explore Real Estate Investments through house flipping, wholesaling, the Mobile Home Park industry, and SFH buy and hold with management.

Becoming a licensed Realtor was initially just so Matt could be his own agent for his investment homes, but it quickly grew to working with friends, family, and a close network of folks. Five years later it has evolved to several years with $4-5 million dollars in sales. Then in 2021, he achieved $9 million in sales. By becoming an agent, Matt had the opportunity to partner up with Paul Heaps and the rest of the team.
